When using Rosemount's 848T for thermocouple inputs, for overall segment length is the distance from the TC to the brick calculated in the overall segment length.

The T/C is not a fieldbus signal, so it is not calculated as part of the segment. The output of the 848T is fieldbus so its spur becomes part of the segment overall length.
