Dear Sean,1. The control system may limit the number of devices per network. This may be e.g. 16 per network or total 64 devices per a module of 4 networks.2. Control loop execution time (macrocycle) may become prohibitively long if the devices you pick have long execution times.3. The control system may have a limited number of VCRs per network. It could be 25 or as high as high as 208 per module of four networks. 25 may often be sufficient but you may have to count them to be sure. If the system permits many, you never need to worry about it and do the extra planning work.
