The Fieldbus Foundation's End User Advisory Council will be hosting an End User Council meeting at the Shell Deer Park facility in Houston, Texas on Friday October 24, the day after the ISA2003 Conference and Exhibit. This year's meeting theme will focus on how Foundation Fieldbus impacts a facility after it has been commissioned, particularly in the areas of maintenance practices, computer based maintenance, and life cycle benefits. The meeting facility is restricted to 120 participants so early registration is recommended and should be part of your travel plans for this year's ISA event.Anyone interested in presenting a paper at this event should submit his or her abstract to EUAC@fieldbus.org <mailto:EUAC@fieldbus.org> by July 20, 2003. All potential authors will be contacted by July 28 of their paper status. Final papers and associated PowerPoint presentations will be due October 3 so that materials will be available for distribution at the event. This annual meeting promises to continue the tradition of excellence of past events. Another posting will be made when the registration form is posted to the FF web site, hopefully early next week.Ian Verhappen, FF EUAC ChairP 780 790-4079, Cell 799-6017, F 780 790-4224Aurora: P 780 715-9500, F 715-9700 or 715-9533verhappen.ian@syncrude.com
