Dear Sudaxia,

All documents, except to he SP5002 Part 1-9 can be purchased from the Fieldbus Foundation. Please see our product catalog at

http://www.fieldbus.org/ProductsAndServices/FFProductCatalog/#Fin

Another option is to join the Fieldbus Foundation. Members automatically receive a complimentary copy of the Fieldbus specifications. Contact Member Services at member.services@fieldbus.org for more information on this option.

Finally, the "SP5002 Part 1-9" or S50.02, Parts 1 though 9, can be acquired from ISA's website at www.isa.org (http://www.isa.org). Click on Shop ISA and search "50.02"

Hi. I'm really interested in finding out when (what year specifically) these specifications were last reviewed or published. I need the dates as a requirement from the quality department of the enterprise where i work in to use them as a reference in the instrument's specifications we're emitting.
Thank you!

IMO the standards aren't tremendously useful from an end user's point of view unless you need to prove to a manufacturer that they aren't meeting a requirement in the standard.

I'd look at what other vendors publish in their manuals. They are free downloads and extract all the important infomation from the standards. On the software side SMAR and Emerson/Rosemount do a good job of explaining what all the parameters do in their devices. Pepperl+Fuchs manuals do a good job of capturing the requirements on the hardware side.
