KTEK Magnetostictive issues

I am trying to use the K-TEK AT100 level transmitter with Honeywell PKS (ver. R201). I am able to connect to the device and see the PV however, when I make any online changes (alarm setpoints) the transmitter goes off-line for 20 sec or more. not good

Some of the parameters in the AT-100 level transmitter need to be written to the EEPROM after being changed - This could take a few seconds, but should not as long as you have observed.
Which versions (HOST and AT-100) and DD's are you using?
