Can anyone please shed some light on how to remove or inhibit the OpFail (Output fail) alarm from Rosemount 752 Remote Indicator fieldbus.
The transmitter is reading normal and is operational. However, this OpFail alarm standing on the Alarm Summary screen and become a nuisance.
I have tried to disable the block alarm, OpFail alarm still up. Tried to restart resource block, however OpFail alarm still up.
Appreciated if anyone could tell me how to remove this OpFail alarm.

Cheers :)

I have just a couple wild guesses.
1. Have you configured all eight display points accurately?
2. Since the OpFail alarm does not appear in the Rosemount Reference Manual, I would double check the DD file revision.
3. There are three Masks available that may help you hide alarms you are sure you do not want to see: ADVISE_MASK, MAINT_MASK and FAILED_MASK. Of course you would want to use these with caution.

Hi Buddy789,

Where exactly do you see this OpFail alarm? On the Rosemount 752 display? I am not sure what exactly you mean by "Alarm Summary screen".

On my 752 I have used the Input Selector block's first input only (IN_1) to display another transmitter's reading. The rest are unwired. What blocks are you using? Better yet, can you provide a screenshot of your block diagram?
