Hi there,
I'm seeking some information on the following:
1. In order for the field device to be registered as Foundation Fieldbus device, does the Device Description (DD) of the fieldbus device need to support the method? or is it only an optional requirement that the field device manufacture may or may not comply with?
2. In order for the Host to be registered as Foundation Fieldbus Host, does the Host need to support DD Method execution? or is it only an optional requirement that the Host vendor may or may not comply with?
I'm looking for someone who can provide some answer to the above questions. Thanks.
