Dear All,

My customer asking me if we can provide him a fieldbus relay with the following specification:
- solid state relay N.O.
- 4 1/2" LCD indicator
-can work as LAS
- Function Block: Timer, DO, PID

I found the StoneL relays but it was not mentioned on the specification of my requirements. If you know a product with this specification please tell me.

Thanks and best regards,

Hi,
To my knowledge, there is no existing registered device like you mentioned.

Beka Associates have a multi-function FF LCD indicator that has I/O, but I don't know if it has LAS or PID capability.
Beka are at www.beka.co.uk

Dear Labington,

I think it is our (Smar) FR302 that is requested, except instead of 4 1/2" LCD display, it is 4 1/2 Digit display (top line, bottom line is 8 static or 32 scrolling characters) which can be configured to show any four sets of data on the bus that can be linked into the FR302.

The FR302 (www.smar.com/products/fr302.asp (http://www.smar.com/products/fr302.asp)) has all the functionality you mention plus many more function blocks (20 intotal). It has two solid state relays, you can specifiy 2xNO, 2xNC or 1xNC & 1xNO, is IP67, and designed for Ex EEx ia d (intrincally safe boards in explosion proof housing) as standard, as per the rest of our range, although as the FR302 is a newish device for us (1 year old) we are still awaiting hazardous area approvals.

Hope this helps, Robin
