Question about disconnect switches on High Power Trunk

What is the general opinion of using special disconenct swtiches available from BARTEC (rated to 70Deg C)and AEG(Cooper? 55 Deg C) on the live trunk for live maintenance on high power trunk in the field as an alternate to actually requiring Gas Free cetification.

I think we could use more information about your application, for example, what is the process and what instruments are connected. Is "Gas Free Certification" a permit one obtains (e.g., hot work) or an agency certification? Does maintenance occur while the process is running?
