help from moving from CiC to CiF
Hello,
in our plant we have been working for 4 years using FF H1 with Invensys Foxboro I/A System. We are planning to migrate some of the loops to CiF, due to the advantages of this phylosophy. As a newbie in CiF, what would be the steps to follow to implement the strategies in the field. The wiring and segments are already accomplished for the intended loops, but I don't now how to configure CiF. Is it vendor depend (Foxboro IA)? Do I need a special software? Need help to move slowly and experiment with CIF and demonstrate the power of the CIF for the 70% of the loops (simple PID) in our plant. Thanks in advance for any help. |
