Cable between FF power conditioner and host H1 interface card

In our project, we are using Type A fieldbus cables. Between FF power conditioner and host H1 interface card, we plan to use Type A single pair cables only. (Distance between H1 card and power conditioner is less than 3 meters)
However considering the bending radius of the standard Type A cable, there is difficulty in accommodating certain number of FF power conditioners in the cabinets. Therefore we plan to remove the outer cover and sheath of the Type A cable and use only a twisted single pair (type A only) cable.
Has anybody done similar installation and if yes any issues observed?

Thanks
Advait
